Why I built this
I got bored of the same setup, every time
I'm Bálint Horváth. I build things for the web. And for years, the most tedious part wasn't the building — it was everything around it.
Every new project: create the repo, spin up a server, configure Docker, connect the domain, generate SSL, set up staging and production, manage environment variables. Then do it all again next week for a different idea.
AI coding agents changed things. Tools like Claude Code and Amp can write great code. But they run on your local machine. You're still watching the agent work, clicking "allow" on every file change, and then manually deploying when it's done.
I wanted something different. A server I can point at, tell it what to build, and come back when the preview is ready. Something I can check from my phone while grabbing coffee. Something that handles all the infrastructure busywork so I can focus on the idea.
That's Remotifex. Not a local AI agent — a remote maker. It runs on your server, builds your projects, and gives you a dashboard to manage everything. The boring parts are automated. The creative parts are yours.
